Coms.Net is happy to announce that its customers will not suffer from the problems that Skype is currently facing.
10,000 Skype customers will be cut off on 20th December due to a complication with the 020 7870 numbers. According to Ofcom, these numbers have already been allocated to a company called Gamma Telecom, meaning that Skype customers will be cut off from the service when the change-over happens.
Coms.Net has its numbers allocated by Ofcom, so its customers will not be subject to the same inconvenience.
Terry Martin, CEO of Coms.Net said, “One of the features of a VoIP service is that you take your numbers with you wherever you go, not have them taken away from you. This situation is further proof that Skype is not a Business class service. Customers are safe with our service and our numbers."
Jason Drummond founded Coms Plc in 2000, with a vision of using the Internet to carry and deliver voice telephone calls. Coms.Net is the core service of Coms Plc, which provides a VoIP business telephony service, enabling business customers to have access to state-of-the-art VoIP technology. Unlike other industry competitors, the Coms.Net solution is based upon the industry standard SIP protocol, which enables the widest possible connection of customers, devices and integrated Web 2.0 applications.
Coms Plc is an OFCOM authorised Public Electronic Communications Network (PECN) and a member of the Internet Telephony Service Providers Association (ITSPA). Coms Plc is also listed on the London Stock Exchange AIM market (LSE:COMS).
