One of the great benefits of Hosted VoIP is that new features are constantly being added to the service, which our customers have immediate access to. As soon as we add a new feature, it's available to all our customers.
In conjunction with Coms.Net’s group hunting feature the Call Queue feature enables callers to be queued before their call is routed to an agent. When callers enter the queue they are informed about the number of callers ahead of them and optionally the estimated waiting time.
Customers can define as many queues as they need and have the ability to forward callers to physical IP phones or virtual accounts which have been configured for group hunting. Each queue can have its own "music on hold".
Linked from the Auto Attendant, caller dials the first three letters of a persons surname and the matching extension number is played by the system, enabling the caller to direct dial the person they wish to talk to.
