London, UK, February 2008: VCOMM, the UK’s leading VoIP value added distributor today announced that they have signed an exclusive agreement to distribute the OrecX Total Recorder (TR) VoIP recording platform to the UK’s leading hosted VoIP providers and IP-PBX resellers.

The OrecX TR solution was developed from the ground up as a hosted or CPE deployed VoIP call recording solution which is capable of being partitioned for multi-tenanted environments such as IP Centrex and SIP trunking providers or Managed Office environments where many companies reside in, or on the same physical premises or platform. It’s ability to deliver significantly less expensive per seat costs makes it an ideal solution for subscription based or managed services based integrators.

Scott Dobson, managing director of VCOMM commented, “We have been involved in the call recording space for some three years now and the biggest barriers to mass adoption of call recording are the cost to deploy and the simplicity to integrate with existing systems.” Dobson continued “OrecX overcomes these two obstacles by delivering the most cost effective, partitionable and financially flexible solution we’ve ever seen. We can sell the software as a permanent license, an annual subscription or even a monthly per seat charge. These models address any cost objection at less than half the price of any competitor in the market place.

Craig McCue, VP of worldwide Sales at OrecX, commented, “Our mission is to deliver inexpensive VoIP recording solutions. Easy to use, easy to install and easy to maintain.  VCOMM has the technical experience to deliver results to the UK market place and can hit the ground running.”
